Cue the screams and swoons.

Mt. Lebanon native Joe Manganiello will host a screening of his directorial debut, "La Bare," at 7 p.m. Friday at the Hollywood Theater in Dormont. Only 100 tickets, $50 each, are being sold to the public (age 18 and older) and that includes an after-party at Ivy Pittsburgh with proceeds supporting the Hollywood and Mt. Lebanon's Denis Theater.

"La Bare" is a look at the real-life world of male entertainment fictionalized in "Magic Mike." The actor produced the movie with his brother, Nick Manganiello, through their production company, and it marks their first project.

The documentary takes watchers behind the scenes of La Bare club in Dallas, providing insight into what women really want, male dancers who range from wannabes to a 35-year veteran who once received a $75,000 cashier's check as a tip, and the aftermath of the shooting of a 27-year-old dancer in a case of mistaken identity.
