CMU Film festival schedule

Carnegie Mellon University's International Film Festival, Faces of Work, will show movies at Carlow University's Kresge Theater, 3333 Fifth Ave.; CMU's University Center, McConomy Auditorium, 5000 Forbes Ave.; Pittsburgh Filmmakers' Melwood Screening Room, 477 Melwood Ave., and Regent Square Theater, 1035 S. Braddock Ave.

Opening night tickets are $15; $10 for seniors and students (ID required). Other movies: $8; $5 for seniors and students. A full-access pass is $50; $25 for seniors and students.

Go to www.cmu.edu/faces for tickets, trailers film descriptions and details on speakers and receptions. The festival runs through April 5.

• "Walesa: Man of Hope" (Poland) -- 7:15 tonight, Regent Square Theater, and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, CMU's University Center, McConomy Auditorium.

"Shipbreakers" (USA/India) -- 7:15 p.m. Friday, McConomy.

"The Square" (Egypt/USA) -- 4:30 p.m. Saturday, McConomy.

"Web Junkie" (China/Israel/USA) -- 7:15 p.m. Saturday, McConomy.

"The Cleaner" (Peru) -- 4 p.m. Monday, Kresge Theater, and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, McConomy.

"Eat Sleep Die" (Sweden) -- 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, McConomy.
