'Why We Ride': Documentary celebrates motorcycle riding

"Why We Ride," an 89-minute documentary celebrating the joys of motorcycle riding, will have a one-time showing at 7:30 p.m. Monday at AMC-Loews at the Waterfront. Go to www.tugg.com/events/6627 to reserve tickets, $11. The event is nearly sold out, but a limited number of seats remain.

Walking West Productions and Gnarlynow Entertainment produced the film. Bryan H. Carroll and Chris Hampel, who have worked with entertainment powerhouses such as James Cameron and Michael Mann, directed.

It promises to share the passion of motorcycle riding and show the camaraderie of friends and families who ride together by focusing on racers, riders, pioneers and parents in the sport.
