"Meet Your Maker," a short sci-fi film starring Bill Cardille, will screen at 7:30 tonight at the Hollywood Theater, 1449 Potomac Ave., Dormont. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the showing will be followed by a short Q-and-A session and reception in the lobby.

Writer-director Justin Francart of New Kensington says the movie is in the vein of "The Twilight Zone" and tells the story of a scientist who must answer to the last survivors of a universe he unwittingly created and destroyed.

In addition to Mr. Cardille, it stars John Amplas and Jonathan Visser and was filmed in Ambridge. Justin and cinematographer and cousin Pat Francart from Bloomfield produced the 23-minute film. Admission at the door is $5, cash only.
