Web tangled with chest hair topics

Thursday, April 10, 2003

Still can't get enough?

The Internet is well-known as home to all things bizarre, and hairy chests proved no exception.

A quick search on Google came up with some 1,430,000 entries on the subject. One caveat: be careful when clicking during a generic search such as this. Here are a few of the more noteworthy sites for your consideration:

www.stuckinthe70s.com: The ultimate chronicle of the era in which chest hair first achieved notoriety.

www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Makeup/2388: On April 2, 1972, Burt Reynolds made history with a cheeky centerfold for Cosmopolitan magazine. That he was nude was one thing, but his proud display of an abundance of chest and other body hair was what set tongues a-waggin'. That issue of Cosmo became an instant collector's item; an initial 700,000 copies were rushed into print. See a whole gallery of Burt Reynolds' pictures here.

www.halfbakery.com: These folks love chest hair!

www.hairremovalforum.com: These folks don't!

www.aaa-wigs.com/accessories/hair/chest-hair.html: These folks want more of it!

www.askmen.com: Suggestions on the proper upkeep of all body hair..

www.concentric.net/~cboyke/hairpoem.html: Paeons for the chest-hair poetry-minded.

www.hairfacts.com: Commercial-free hair removal facts.
