Maher returns to TV
Bill Maher, who saw his "Politically Incorrect" series canceled this summer by ABC, will return to television in a new late night talk show that premieres Feb. 21 on HBO.

WTAE will re-air the "Oprah Winfrey Show" featuring the nine rescued Quecreek miners at 5 p.m. Sunday. ... WQED will rebroadcast an "On Q" devoted to the 75th anniversary of Central Catholic High School at 11 p.m. Monday.
Local 'Adoption Story'
Discovery Health Channel's "An Adoption Story" features a local family in an episode airing at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 5.
In the program, Dan Willmer of Oakmont and his wife, Inez Ferraco, have adopted a baby from the Ukraine. Now they want to adopt another child, and the program follows them to Guatemala City to meet the newest member of their family.
WWII memories
"World War II: In Their Own Words," a collection of video diaries recorded by Pennsylvania World War II veterans, will air on PCN from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1.
Drawn from 80 full-length interviews, the unedited results air from 6 p.m. to midnight, except Dec. 1, when they air from 2 to 7 p.m.
Another batch will air in a similar scheduling pattern from Dec. 26 to Dec. 29. A third installment of diary entries is expected in 2003.
