Forte heads to QVC
WPXI morning news traffic reporter Katina Forte is leaving Channel 11 for an on-air host job at home shopping network QVC.
Forte, who joined WPXI in November 1998, will host from QVC's flagship store at the Mall of America in Minneapolis beginning later this fall.
Her last day on Channel 11's morning news will be tomorrow.
Roses for Rogers
Children's television host Fred Rogers will be one of three grand marshals at the Rose Parade on New Year's Day 2003. He'll be joined by Bill Cosby and Art Linkletter.
