'Hornblower' returns
A&E's Emmy-winning miniseries "Horatio Hornblower" will return for a third voyage in the four-hour production "Hornblower and the Hotspur," adapted from the third Hornblower novel.
Ioan Gruffudd returns as the title character along with Robert Lindsay, Paul McGann, Paul Copley and Sean Gilder. Julia Sawalha ("Absolutely Fabulous") and Greg Wise ("Sense and Sensibility") join the cast.
The latest Hornblower adventure is filming and will air on A&E in 2003.
Hair 'Today,' gone tomorrow
Matt Lauer's new 'do, a virtual crew cut, prompted giggles from anchor Katie Couric when it debuted Monday morning and now NBC's Tom Brokaw weighs in.
In an interview with "Access Hollywood," Brokaw said, "My question to Matt Lauer is, what was the bet? I mean, he had to have lost a bet. [Matt's] a golf fanatic, I think it's a tribute to Tiger Woods somehow. I want to get the name of his barber, only because I want to make sure I don't go to him."
"Access" also conducted a poll that found 54 percent against the new hairstyle, 46 percent in favor of it.
Name change
The New York Post reports former WPXI anchor Edye Tarbox, who is now co-host of Fox News Channel's morning show, has changed her name again.
Lately, she's been going by E.D. Donahey, but now that she's married to venture capitalist Joe Hill, she's switched to E.D. Hill.
