TV Note: BRAVO documentary profiles Warhol Saturday, June 01, 2002 By Mary Thomas, Post-Gazette Art Critic
For most it will be just the 15 minutes of fame that Andy Warhol predicted, but the King of Pop's own reign in the limelight continues 15 years after his death.
At 9 p.m. tomorrow the BRAVO channel will show "The Whole Warhol," a two-hour look at the "mind, methods and motivations" of the man who continues to fascinate, here and abroad.
The documentary begins with his death, in 1987, and moves backward, tracing his artistic roots in the early '60s. Interviews with celebrities such as Madonna, Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Lou Reed, Paul Morrissey and Donatella Versace round out the program.
