Sandy Hook Elementary, Dec. 14, 2012

We waited for you once before
Nine months
Then you came

Perfect child

Filling a hole
Creating a bond
Complete with you in our arms

We wait for you now
Hours
Come out of that school
Perfect child
So we may hold you

Empty
Left with the bond

We will carry you
Even though you are not here
To hold
